I recently had an HVAC service appointment with Service Experts. The technicians themselves were excellent—professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They explained everything clearly and did a solid job. However, I have serious concerns about the sales side of the experience. There was a strong push to sign up for a service agreement, but it was not clearly disclosed that these agreements can lock you in for up to 10 years. What’s even more concerning is the pricing—some of these service agreements are so expensive that they rival (or even exceed) the cost of a brand-new AC unit. That’s something customers absolutely need to be made aware of upfront. Overall: great technicians, but be very cautious with the service agreements and pricing. Ask detailed questions, read the fine print, and compare costs before committing.
